CALIFORNIA ART CLUB TO PRESENT 'CRIMES OF ART' LECTURE
AT THE AUTRY MUSEUM

WHAT: "CRIMES OF ART"

                 The California Art Club will present the lecture "Crimes of Art" at its April General Meeting. The featured speaker will be Detective Donald Hrycyk of the L.A.P.D. Art Theft Detail, the only full-time law enforcement unit in the United States devoted to the investigation of art crimes. He will recount some of his cases to illustrate how artists and collectors can be vulnerable to clever art thieves and provide suggestions for protecting artwork.
